PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed type constant velocity universal joint which materializes the compactization and weight reduction while securing the strength of a cage. SOLUTION: A curvature center O<SB>10</SB>of an outer spherical face 4b of a cage 4 and a curvature center O<SB>20</SB>of an inner spherical face 4c of the cage 4 are offset by only an equal distance on a mutually opposite side in the axial direction on a joint opening side and joint depth side with respect to a joint center O, respectively. In a state where a joint operating angle is 0°, an offset angle θ<SB>CAGE</SB>of the cage formed of a straight line connecting curvature centers O<SB>10</SB>, O<SB>20</SB>of the inner and outer spherical faces 4b, 4c of the cage 4 to a center Q of a torque transmission ball 3 and a straight line connecting a center Q of the torque transmission ball 3 to the joint center O is set to a range of 2.7°≤θ<SB>CAGE</SB>≤5.7°.
