PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide signature verification technique for improving tolerance of a reception error and usability by detecting packet loss. SOLUTION: A reception device (100B) includes a reception unit (110) which receives a TS used to calculate signature information and a verification packet including a first identifier and a second identifier for identifying a TSP, a generation unit (120A) which generates a hash value as signature information from some of TSPs selected on the basis of the first and the second identifiers, a measurement unit (190) which measures the time between verification packets, a counter unit (125B) which counts the number of the received TSPs, a collating unit (142) which collates a hash value included in a verification packet with the hash value generated by the generation unit (120A), and a processing unit (144B) which excludes a section between verification packets from a signature verification section by judging whether there is packet loss on the basis of the number of TSPs counted in the section between the verification sections and the measured time to have an affirmative judgement.
