PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that enables a user to easily create a diary using an input character string, a picked-up image, registered current position information, registered schedule information, received mail information, etc., without being aware of formats. SOLUTION: The mobile phone includes a recording instruction means (S103) of instructing recording of a character string when the character string is input, and a diary recording means (S109) of recording the input character string as diary information while making it correspond to time information indicative of current time when the recording of the character string is instructed.
