A guide bracket and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture a guide bracket having a U-shaped section from a circular material conveniently without damage to a die. A manufacturing method of a guide bracket comprises a step of making a first semi-product(60) having a horizontal part(61) and a protruding inner diameter part(62) by piercing the center of a circular plate shaped material(50) and then burring the hole, a step of making a cylindrical second semi-product having a U-shaped section including an inner diameter part, a flat part, and an outer diameter part by turning the first semi-product upside down and then processing the horizontal part, and a step of making a finished product by processing the inner diameter part of the second semi-product with a lower die guide punch equipped in a restrike mold and processing the flat part and outer diameter part of the second semi-product with an upper die.
