<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking type exercise apparatus which enables even beginners to use it at ease. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a mobile part 2 on which user sits, a drive part 3 for making the mobile part move rocking and a control means C for controlling the drive of the drive part. At least one is made variable out of the exercise intensity of the rocking motion with the drive part, the operation time of the motion and the attitudes of the mobile part. A designation input means for the designation of a beginner's mode is provided and the control means restricts at least one of the variable ranges of the exercise intensity of the rocking motion, the operation time of the motion and the attitudes of the mobile part when a designation input is given to designate the beginner's mode by the designation input means. With the designation of the beginner's mode, the exercise intensity (containing velocity) is suppressed or the operation time shortened or the attitudes are restricted to be made almost horizontal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
