MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, MOBILE STATION DEVICE, BASE STATION DEVICE, AND HANDOVER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a communication path between base stations connected via a network so as not to interrupt data received at a mobile station during hand-over.

SOLUTION: A mobile station 14-1 that initiates radio communication with a base station 12-2 of a hand-over destination switches an acquisition destination of data transmitted from a mobile station 14-2 of a communication partner from a mobile station 12-1 of a hand-over source to the base station 12-2 of the hand-over destination, and then transmits a communication path switching request to a base station 12-3 that performs radio communication with the mobile station 14-2. The base station 12-3 releases a real-time transport protocol (RTP) session established with the base station 12-1 of the hand-over source in response to the communication path switching request transmitted from the mobile station 14-1.
