PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soap which can ensure satisfactory physical stability and preservation effect even if a substance derived from soil is included in an astaxanthin-containing soap, and a producing method thereof. SOLUTION: A hole or dent 12 is formed substantially at the center of an astaxanthin-containing soap base part 10, and a barley leaflet powder solid 14 is filled in this recessed part 12. A component such as astaxanthin in the soap base part 10 and abundant nutrient components such as mineral in the solid 14 are dissolved, and fine and smooth foam of good quality with high voluminous or heavy sense is obtained. When this acts on the skin, an excellent skin effect such as sebum protection, moisture retention, or improvement in gray hair, fleck or wrinkle can be expected by the synergistic effect of the sea-derived components and the soil-derived components.
