PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a gap between a front frame and a display panel is adjusted by a level difference in stepped parts and the thickness of a spacer. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel 14 in the front frame 12 of a cabinet 12, and the gap G between the liquid crystal display panel 14 and the top end 12f of the front frame 12c is adjusted by the thickness of the spacer 30 disposed on the rear face of the front frame 12c. The device has a first level difference h1 formed on the rear face of the front frame 12c, a first level difference part 23a made a step by a second level difference h2 and a third level difference h3, a second stepped part 23b, and a third stepped part 23c. The second level difference h2, and the third level difference h3 are 0.5 mm, and the gap G is adjusted to a permissible range of 0.2 to 1.0 mm by pasting the spacer 30 of a thickness of 1.2 mm to any of the first stepped part 23a, the second stepped part 23b, and the third stepped part 23c selected in accordance with the gap G.
