PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission chain and a power transmission device improved in not only noise but also durability by eliminating an unfavorable bending angle by taking into account the bending angle from a random array of pitch lengths and pin shapes. SOLUTION: As to the pitch length, there are two kinds of a link L1 of a small pitch length and a link L2 of a large pitch length. As to the pin shape, there are two kinds of a pin P1 having a large curvature of a rolling contact surface and a pin P2 having a small curvature of a rolling contact surface. Relations between link elements and relative rotary angles in relation to various kinds of arrays are analyzed, and the arrays having extremely small relative rotary angles are eliminated.
