PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint drying device for greatly shortening a time required for drying processes during painting a workpiece while securing the safe of workers. SOLUTION: The drying device comprises a supporting column 4, a hollow heating coil 7 supported on the supporting column 4 in an insulated condition for allowing cooling water to be put inside, an exhaust duct 9 having an opening portion arranged above the heating coil 7, an upper cover 10 arranged above the heating coil 7, a lower cover 12 arranged under the heating coil 7, and a power supply means for supplying a current to the heating coil 7. A workpiece 14 is arranged near the heating coil 7, and a current is applied to the heating coil 7 and the workpiece 14 is rotated. The workpiece 14 is heated to be dried with high frequency induction heating, and gas generated by the drying is absorbed by the exhaust duct 9.
