PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovated structure of instrument panel capable of locating an accommodation part for booklet-shaped objects comparatively thin but large near a driver or passenger, especially near the driver, allowing him/her to accommodate object(s) and to take out easily, and free of such a problem as hopping out etc. in the event of a quick start etc. SOLUTION: The structure applies to an instrument panel 1 of a vehicle having a panel 4 partitioning the cabin front in a part under the windshield 120, the instrument panel 1 being arranged behind the panel 4 about the vehicle fore-and-aft direction, in which at least part of the instrument panel is formed as a hollow cylinder extending across the vehicle width, wherein the cylindrical portion is arranged apart from the panel to the rear in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction and supported at two ends 12 by the vehicle body or a structural element 2 fixed thereto, while below the cylindrical portion, a rack surface 6 is provided to admit placing of the object(s), and further an object accommodating space 5 is partitioned continuously from ahead of the cylindrical portion oversurface to the upper side of the rack surface.
