PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display case for displaying books for lending, allowing smooth insertion of a book body. SOLUTION: A case body of rectangular parallelepiped shape opened at an upper part is formed with an inside wall corresponding to an inside part of the book body, a front side sidewall and a rear side sidewall corresponding to a front side cover and a rear side cover of a cover body, and a back wall corresponding to a back cover. The case body is transparent or translucent and is provided with bottom raising means at a bottom part to protrude the upper part of the book body from an opening of the case body when enclosing the book body in the case body. The case body is provided with a guide tongue piece located at an opening edge to project upward from the inside wall and to incline outward at a predetermined angle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
