A power slide device for a vehicle seat, in which there is less possibility of occurrence of abnormal noise between a metal member for securing a resin nut to a lower rail and a metal screw rod and in which the resin nut is easily secured to the lower rail. The power slide device has a metal case (26) secured to the lower rail (13) and having a through hole (27) parallel to the sliding direction of an upper rail (17), the resin nut (32) formed integrally with the peripheral surface of the through hole and having female screw holes (34, 35) in which the screw rod is mounted, and the screw rod (75) sliding together with the upper rail relative to the lower rail, rotatable about its own axis, and mounted in the female screw hole of the resin nut.
