PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer electronic component capable of improving attenuation characteristics for a noise component in a high-frequency band and reducing a risk of occurrence of trouble such as delamination. SOLUTION: The multilayer electronic component L1 has an inductor section composed of an element body 1 in a rectangular parallelepiped shape and coil conductors 10 to 16 disposed in the element body 1. The element body 1 is a multilayered body and is composed of a plurality of magnetic material sections 4 and a plurality of nonmagnetic material sections 5. Coil conductors 11, 13, 15, and 16 are disposed in the nonmagnetic material sections 5. The magnetic material sections 4 contain ferrites and the nonmagnetic material sections 5 contain ZnO and metal oxide having a larger coefficient of linear expansion than that of ZnO and a smaller dielectric constant than those of the magnetic material sections.
