PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism capable of reducing component costs, an optical pickup device, and an optical disk device. SOLUTION: A worm gear 63 is attached to the output shaft of a motor 62, and the large gear part 64b of a feed gear 64 is engaged with the worm gear 63. The large gear part 64b is provided with a spur gear. The rotary shaft of the worm gear 63 is tilted by an angle equivalent to the tooth lead angle of the worm gear 63 with respect to a plane orthogonal to the rotary shaft of the feed gear 64.
