PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inspecting a circuit board for preliminarily informing a worker of a moving state of an inspection head. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for inspecting the circuit board includes: the inspection head 3 simultaneously contacting a group of boards (e.g 6 boards) including the same type of (a×b) circuit boards 12 (e.g. 5×6); a movement mechanism 4 for moving the inspection head 3; and a processing section 6 for implementing an inspection while the movement mechanism 4 is controlled in one work 11 including a plurality of the circuit boards 12, and the inspection head 3 sequentially contacts a group of the boards per unit. The processing section 6 implements an inspection simulation processing for displaying the moving state of the inspection head 3 moved on the work 11 on a display 8 by implementing the control for the movement mechanism 4 before the inspection head 3 is moved to the work 11.
