The barrel motor has a barrel (1) propelled from an electric motor. The electric motor has a rotor and a stator having a stator winding. The rotor of the electric motor is connected with proximity in a rotatable manner, particularly axially reciprocal manner. The stator winding is connected with the barrel in rotatable manner and the barrel partly surrounds the stator winding.
