PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a state where the head of a high-emergency warning is cut off, by receiving, on an early stage, earthquake information or the like even in the middle of receiving a state restoration signal. SOLUTION: An apartment house intercom system is provided with an apartment house entrance unit, a plurality of living-room master units, a control center master unit, and a controller. The controller includes a main control circuit which intermittently generates a state restoration signal for restoring each of the apartment house entrance unit, living-room master units and control center master unit in an abnormal state into a normal state. Each of terminals is equipped with: a state restoration/hold circuit for restoring its own terminal from an abnormal state to a normal state by judging that the state restoration signal intermittently transmitted from the main control circuit of the controller is valid when its own terminal is in the abnormal state, and for holding the normal state by judging that the state restoration signal is invalid when its own terminal is in the normal state; and a terminal control circuit for detecting presence/absence of a reception signal transmitted from the controller and for performing operation control based on the reception signal when detecting the presence of the detection signal.
