PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator constituted so as to be capable of opening a door without arranging an electric wiring part on the door side, by enhancing safety without operating a door opening device, even if an opening door switch is operated by unconsciously touching an opening door operation part when closing the door. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is composed of the door 9 blocking up a front opening part of a storage chamber, a door switch 31 detecting an opening-closing door state of this door, the opening door operation part 16 for operating the door for opening, the opening door switch 30 operating by operation of the opening door operation part, and the door opening device 15 arranged on the body side opposed to a reverse surface of the door and performing opening door operation by operation of the opening door switch, and is characterized in that the door opening device is not operated even if an opening door signal is energized by operation of the opening door switch when the door switch detects an opening door state, and performs opening operation only when the opening door switch is operated when the door switch detects a closing door state.
