PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium feeding device and image forming device capable of maintaining the floating state of paper and keeping an appropriate angle during feeding to a feeding part. SOLUTION: The recording medium feeding device for separating and feeding stacked recording media one by one is provided with an air outlet for sending an air flow from the lateral side in the recording medium feeding direction to the recording media. The air outlet is formed so as to vertically extend astride a recording medium feeding face for feeding the recording media, and is formed such that a lower end on the upstream side in the recording medium feeding direction is set higher in the vertical direction than a lower end on the downstream side in the recording medium carrying direction.
