PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device, an image processing device and a control method of the conveying device having reliability and capable of detecting abnormality in required timing. SOLUTION: Every time noise is generated from a sensor 18 for detecting a conveyed document, the occurrence time and date and the continuous time of the generated noise are acquired, and are stored in a storage part 33 as noise information. The noise information of the noise generated in the prescribed period is read out from the storage part 33. From the read out noise information, the number of the noise information having the continuous time equal to or longer than prescribed time T is counted, and the abnormality of the sensor 18 is predicted when the counter value is equal to or more than a prescribed value, and the prediction result is displayed on a display part 14a of an operation panel 14.
