<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the uniformity of a screen by correcting mobility so as to meet the gradation of a video signal. <P>SOLUTION: A light scanner 4 has a shift register S/R and an output buffer 4B. For each stage of the shift register S/R, the shift register generates input signals IN and AZX in order in synchronization with line sequential scanning. The output buffer 4B connects each stage of the shift register and each scanning line WS, and outputs a control signal to the scanning line WS according to the input signal IN, AZX. The output buffer 4B changes, in at least two stages, the falling waveform of a control signal OUT that specifies the timing of turning off a sampling transistor according to the input signal IN, AZX.
