<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, a subject separating method, and a program capable of separating, from a background, a subject that secures a space with a depth. <P>SOLUTION: When a photographer designates an address position of a club head of a subject 51 as an A point (focus position closest to the photographer) and designates focus positions thereafter in order from the side closest to the photographer like B point and C point as illustrated in Fig. 2(b), a digital camera segments a space 52 between A and C, extracts an edge portion for separating the subject 51 surrounded with the focus positions A, B and C and separates a background and the subject 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
