PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for monitoring groundwater contaminant. SOLUTION: A method and system for monitoring the groundwater contaminant is described. The groundwater is pumped to a stage above the groundwater table where at least a portion of the groundwater is vaporized.
