PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an electric horn so as to provide a large sound pressure. SOLUTION: The electric horn is constructed such that a coil bobbin 4 is housed in the bottom 2a of a bottomed cylindrical casing 2, and a fixed iron core 3 is fitted into and fixed to a cylindrical hole 4f in the cylindrical portion 4a of the coil bobbin 4 so as to magnetize the fixed iron core 3 as an exciting coil C is excited, and a moving iron core 10 is provided at the shaft center of a diaphragm 9 fixed to the opened end of the casing 2 to allow the moving iron core 10 to face the fixed iron core 3 in the shaft center direction so that the moving iron core 10 is displaced with a specified shaft center direction amplitude W with respect to the fixed iron core 3 that repeats magnetization by the intermittent exciting due to power supply of the exciting coil C, thus beeping an alarm sound. The disposing position of the moving iron core 10 in the electric horn is such that an end face on the fixed iron core 3 side strides over a reference position N within the amplitude W of the moving iron core 10 when the end portion on the moving iron core 10 side at the winding wound portion 4e of the exciting coil C is the reference position N.
