PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery system for applying a wound dressing to a wound area. SOLUTION: The delivery system for applying a wound dressing includes a thin film elastomeric wound dressing having a lower surface for application to the wound area and an upper surface, a release member releasably attached to the lower surface of the wound dressing, a delivery member including a lower surface releasably attached relative to the upper surface of the wound dressing and an upper surface, and being dimensioned to support the wound dressing and thereby facilitates application of the wound dressing to the wound area, and a tab member at least partially disposed between the wound dressing and the delivery member.
