PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of easily inputting a parameter concerning the image quality of a displayed image for diagnosis, and to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic method. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an input means 3; respective configuration elements 1, 22, 23, 24, 4 for transmitting ultrasonic wave to a subject, receiving the reflection wave of the transmitted ultrasonic wave, generating image data based on the reflection wave, and displaying the image for diagnosis, based on the generated image data; a control means 21 for controlling the respective configuration elements, based on input information from the input means; and a file generating means 27 for extracting the parameter concerning the image quality of the image for diagnosis from the input information to be inputted from the input means, and generating a file for guiding the input procedure of the parameter concerning the image quality, based on the extracted parameter.
