PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively compress image data while reducing a load on data processing, power consumption, and a memory capacity in a capsule type endoscope. SOLUTION: The endoscopic system includes the capsule type endoscope, and a data processor. Compression image data are successively transmitted from the capsule type endoscope to the data processor. The data processor performs statistic processing, based on the compression image data being transmitted, generates new dynamic dictionary data, and then, transmits command data concerning dynamic dictionary updating to the capsule type endoscope.
