PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding lawn mower having a front mower capable of surely stopping the drive of the mower in the case of lifting the mower. SOLUTION: The riding lawn mower is provided with a mower driving clutch 30a to transmit engine power to a mower 6, a lever lock cam 62 having two engaging valley parts 62c, 62d to engage a roller 63 of a PTO lever 61 holding the roller 63 at positions corresponding to the disengaging position and the engaging position of the clutch 30a by operating the PTO lever 61 having the roller 63 placed near the turning support point 61a formed at the base side, and a linking mechanism such as a wire 66 to move the roller 63 of the PTO lever 61 positioned at the engaging valley part 62d corresponding to the engaging position of the clutch 30a of the lever lock cam 62 to the engaging valley part 62c corresponding to the disengaging position of the clutch 30a by lifting the mower 6. When the mower 6 is lifted by a prescribed extent with a simple mechanism, the PTO lever 61 is moved to shut the power and stop the motion of the mower 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
