The atomizer has a reservoir, which limits an internal area (14) provided for retaining liquid e.g. liquid medication. A jet nozzle (15) is provided in the internal area for passage of an air jet, and a cover (28) covers the nozzle to limit a fluid supply gap between the cover and the nozzle. A compressible component (27) is connected to a vapor discharge line (26) and the cover, and is compressible in a jet discharge direction (X) to hold the cover in a preset position. The cover, the compressible component and the vapor discharge line are formed as a single piece molded individual part.
