<p>PURPOSE: A frame structure of convolution coding and decoding, error detection method and CRC encoder are provided to prevent energy loss with respect to actual transfer bits owing to added bits at a frame used at convolution coding. CONSTITUTION: Since no trail bit exists, there is selected a code word(Wi) having the smallest path-metric among a plurality of code words(Wn) having a final path-metric for each status(81,82). Hn is obtained by performing a hard decision operation with respect to the cord word(Wi), and the obtained Hn is transferred as the final information(83). There is judged whether or not of an error for an output value by performing a CRC verification operation for the hard decision output value(Hn)(84).</p> |
