A cable link monitoring system is provided to prevent disconnection of a jumper coupler and minimize damage to devices in a railway vehicle in the disconnection of the jumper coupler by letting the short sensing unit separate first before the jumper coupler. A cable link monitoring system for a railway vehicle having a jumper coupler, which includes a cable connector(110) and a receptacle(120), monitors the connection state between the connector and the receptacle. The jumper coupler also includes short sensing units which are connected in series and cut off before the connector and the receptacle are disconnected. The short sensing units are connected to an SIV(Static InVerter) controllers in series, the SIV controllers which transmit and receive electric signals in order to form a monitoring loop for monitoring the imperfect coupling and short circuit of the jumper coupler continually. |
