PURPOSE:To ensure the display of the concerned region in an extremely high efficiency by reading the picture data within the concerned region for each picture matrix and in accordance with the integer part of the magnified coefficient and then inserting the decimal part and the interpolation data into the read-out picture data. CONSTITUTION:The given picture data is memorized in memory 1, and the display matrix is divided by the matrix size equivalent to the set 4 concerned region to obtain the magnified coefficient. Then the picture data corresponding within the concerned region is read repetitively in sequence for each matrix in the frequencies according to the integer part of the magnified coefficient. At the same time, the interpolation data is produced through interpolation coefficent generator 24 and others based on the decimal part value of the magnified coefficient and the read- out data, and is then inserted into the read-out picture data properly to be displayed 3. Thus, the magnifying display can be performed for the concerned region in an extremely high efficiency. |
