<p>Support on which a set of probes is arranged, is claimed, where the set comprises: probes that can specifically hybridized with nucleic acids, which code for fucosyl transferase, galactosyl transferase, N-acetylglucosaminyl transferase, N-acetylgalactosyl transferase, sialyltransferase, sugar-sulfotransferase, lectin, selectin, fucosidase, neuraminidase (sialidase), nucleotide-sugar-epimerase, sugar kinases, sugar epimerase, sugar transporter and fucose/sialic acid metabolism. Independent claims are included for: (1) a kit comprising the set of probes; and (2) quantitative determination of the expression of the nucleic acids that code for fucosyl transferase, galactosyl transferase, N-acetylglucosaminyl transferase, N-acetylgalactosyl transferase, sialyltransferase, sugar-sulfotransferase, lectin, selectin, fucosidase, neuraminidase (sialidase), nucleotide-sugar-epimerase, sugar kinases, sugar epimerase, sugar transporter and enzymes of the fucose/sialic acid metabolism, comprising (a) bringing the support in contact with a preparation of marked nucleic acid, which is obtained by means of reverse transcription of mRNAs and is available in a sample obtained from a cell, a tissue or an organism, and (b) quantifying the quantity of the marking that is bound to the probes on the support.</p> |
