ADHESIVE FOR POLARIZING PLATE

An adhesive for a polarizing plate is provided to lower the used amount of iodine, and to realize an effect of controlling light leakage of higher shortwave band. An adhesive for a polarizing plate comprises an adhesive composition and a dispersant. The adhesive composition comprises (i) transparent polymer resin 50-95 weight%, (ii) water-soluble crosslinking agent 0.01-0.5 weight% and (iii) metal oxide 0.1-5 weight% based on the adhesive composition 100 parts by weight. The dispersant is contained in an amount of 20-110 parts by weight based on the adhesive composition 100 parts by weight.
