<p>An upper cover for a mattress has a special absorbent layer (11) of fibers laid in a wave pattern in two orthogonal directions with and elastic structure to stretch by up to 50 percent. The layer provides point elastic support and can absorb up to 0.5 liters of perspiration per square meter per night without feeling damp. The absorbed moisture is vented when the bed is aired.</p> |
