<p>The system (1) has a sealing body inserted into an annular gap for bridging the annular gap and elastically compensating a height variation of the annular gap. A sealing ring is held in the sealing body in the annular gap between a rotor and a stator. The sealing body is formed from mineral wool and fiber, where the fiber is manufactured from polymer. The sealing ring includes a radial extension in the annular gap. The sealing ring is manufactured from a sheet steel and a polymer, and is entrained by a surface of rotor and stator coatings (15, 16) manufactured from PTFE. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing an annular gap between a rotor and a stator of a turbo machine.</p> |
