[Class 142 (i)] A loom stop-motion, acting after a predetermined length of fabric has been woven, comprises a perforated ribbon 10 passing over a sprocket 9, driven by the take-up roller 1 through a clutch 3, and carrying a rider 15 adapted to displace a catch 19 to release one end 20 of a lever connected to mechanism (not shown) which trips the loom starting handle. The stop-motion is re-set by manually raising a member 24 which releases the clutch to allow a weight 14 to return the rider to its initial position and brings.the end 20 of the lever under the catch 19 by means of a link 23 connected to the other end of the lever.</p> |
