<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the slidability of a guide body with a simple structure even when a coating layer for measure against fretting is formed on the guide body. <P>SOLUTION: This steering gear comprises a rack shaft 2 movable in the axial direction according to steering operation, the guide body 4 disposed on the opposite side of the rack teeth 2a of the rack shaft 2 and guiding the movement of the rack shaft 2, a housing 3 having a support hole 33 slidably supporting the guide body 4, and a coned disc spring 5 energizing the guide body 4 toward the rack shaft 2. A plate body 9 spot-welded to the coned disc spring 5 at the multiple circumferential positions of the coned disc spring 5 is installed between the coned disc spring 5 and the guide body 4. Thus, the coating layer can be prevented from being peeled off by the coned disc spring to maintain the slidability of the guide body 4 and reduce noise due to vibration of the coned disc spring 5 and the plate body 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
