PLASMA DECOMPOSITION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CARBON DIOXIDE

An apparatus and method for plasma decomposition of carbon dioxide are provided to recycle decomposed carbon and oxygen, decrease carbon dioxide fundamentally, and to used the carbon as a material of a nano tube. An apparatus for plasma decomposition of carbon includes a carbon dioxide storage unit(100), a reactor(200), a carbon separating unit(300) and a carbon dioxide/oxygen separation unit(400). An inlet and a vent(240) are formed in the reactor. A plurality of anodes(220) and plurality of cathodes(230) are arranged to a longitudinal direction in the reactor. An insulator(222) covering diode(221) of a cylinder type is installed in the apparatus. The carbon separating unit comprises an inhaling unit(310) and a cyclone dust collecting unit(320).
