An apparatus and a method for envelope a tracking power amplifier in a wireless communication system are provided to increase the accuracy of time arrangement by accurately measuring the time delay difference among paths independently. When measuring the time delay of an envelop signal path, a baseband signal controller(102) outputs an envelop signal to the envelop signal path. The baseband signal controller outputs a signal of which envelop size is uniform to the baseband signal path. When measuring the time delay of the baseband signal path, the baseband signal controller outputs a signal of which envelop size is uniform to the envelop signal path. The baseband signal controller outputs a baseband signal to the baseband signal path. A time delay difference measurement unit(109) calculates the correlation coefficient as to the envelop signal path and the baseband signal path. Therefore, the time delay of each path is measure. By using the time delay difference, a signal time controller(105) sets up time delay at a correspondent path.
