A porous heat exchanger element and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify manufacturing processes and improve durability and airtightness by being made of porous material with a mold. A porous heat exchanger element is made of synthetic resin or inorganic porous material having numerous air bubbles inside. A plurality of exhaust paths(12) are bored at regular intervals to pass indoor air(A) from one side to the opposite side. A plurality of intake paths(14) are bored at regular intervals to be adjacent and crossed to the exhaust path in order to pass outside air(B) from the other side to the opposite side. The exhaust path and the intake path are repeatedly and alternately formed.
