Methods, networks and network nodes for selecting a route

The method involves determining multiple test routes with respective quality of service characteristics and for each test route a correlation-parameter is measured. A weighing function for the weighted evaluation is applied by quality of service characteristics to a quality of service characteristic of the test routes. The correlation-parameter is contained as the quality of service characteristic in the function argument. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a network of data technically connected nodes (2) a hub of a network of data technically connected nodes.
