<p>A process by which a light-transmitting electromagnetic-shielding material excellent in light-transmitting properties, electromagnetic-shielding properties, appearance, and visibility and having a mesh pattern of high accuracy can be produced in a simple manner. The process for light-transmitting electromagnetic-shielding material production comprises: a step (A1) in which an electroless-plating pretreating agent containing a mixture of a silane coupling agent and an azole compound or a product of a reaction between these and further containing a noble-metal compound is printed in a mesh pattern arrangement on a transparent substrate (11) toform a mesh-pattern pretreatment layer (12) on the transparent substrate (11); and a step (A2) in which the substrate (11) is then subjected to electroless plating to thereby form a mesh-pattern metallic conducting layer (13) on the pretreatment layer (12).</p> |
