An alumina mandrel type resistance temperature detector, a metallic sheath resistance thermometer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to apply the temperature detector to high pressure and high flow rate environment which requires high response speed and high accuracy to temperature change. An alumina mandrel type resistance temperature detector(11) comprises a high purity-alumina mandrel in which a plurality of through holes are formed in the longitudinal direction and cut-out is formed on the surface, a platinum resistance wire(14) which is spirally wound on the surface of the alumina mandrel and welded to a lead wire of a sheath part, a junction(16) in which the platinum lead wire inserted into the through hole is welded through the cut-out, and an alumina coating layer formed on the outer diameter portion of the alumina mandrel. |
