A system for operating a color selection buffer and a method thereof are provided to determine the withdrawal order by analyzing the constitutional ratio of each color of a car body loaded in the color selection buffer. Barcode scanners(BS1, BS2) are prepared at the entrance and exit of a color selection buffer installed in a painting factory, and read out the barcode attached to a car body which is inserted into and ejected from the color selection buffer. A stopper(ST) is arranged on each line of the color selection buffer to control the inserted and ejected cars. A controller(C) manages information about the car body loaded in the color selection buffer by analyzing the scanned barcode information, calculates a withdrawal group, and controls the operation of the stopper to control the withdrawal of car bodies in each line. |
