A two-phase signal crossing system is provided to prevent a traffic accident and to reduce the signal waiting time. A two-phase signal crossing system comprises: a standby lane for U-turn(31) in which a vehicle is waiting to turn left; and a rearward crosswalk(42) securing the space for the vehicle to respect to go straight after U-turn and wait for the green light. The rearward crosswalk is behind installed at the offset of pedestrian in intersection. The signal at the intersection has a going and stop signal without a left turn signal.
