A method and system for filing the change by using an online account and a recording medium therefor are provided to convert the change into the value(or electronic money) and accumulate the converted money, thereby reducing the cost require for making coins. A registration unit opens an affiliated store account in which the change deposit is deposited in a financial institution to register an account, and then registers a change receiving side. An information receiver(1105) receives affiliated store information, change information and customer identification information from an affiliated store terminal. A deposit confirming unit(1120) compares the amount of money which is deposited in the affiliated store account with the change to confirm the validity when filing the change. If the validity is confirmed, a change processor(1130) withdraws the money corresponding to the change from the affiliated store account and then fills it in the change receiving side. |
