A method for manufacturing a light weight foaming asphalt sheet is provided to ensure light weight and excellent adhesion in order to decrease the weight of vehicles and electronic products. A method for manufacturing a light weight foaming asphalt sheet comprises the steps of: (100) mixing blown asphalt and calcium carbonate to heat-stir the mixture; (200) additionally injecting cellulose or paper additionally to heat-stir them; (300) injecting a blowing mixture mixed with an blowing agent and a dispersant, and the light material; (400) extruding the mixture; (500) molding the extruded mixture in the form of a plate-like sheet with a roller; (600) cooling the plate-like sheet and surface-treating it; (700) adhering to the release paper after drying the sheet; and (800) molding the plate-like sheet adhere with the release paper.
