An exposure apparatus for a display device and a method thereof are provided to expose a photosensitive film by transmitting light through a transmitting unit during an exposure process and spread the transmitted light equally by a spread reflecting body to expose, thereby reducing exposure time. A chuck(100) fixes a substrate(120). The chuck faces a light source(158). The substrate comprises a photosensitive film(140). A mask(150) selectively transmits or blocks light from the light source to expose the photosensitive film. A spread reflecting body(110) is formed on the chuck. The spread reflecting body spreads and reflects light from the light source to expose the photosensitive film coated on the substrate. The photosensitive film is a color filter of a liquid crystal display device. The spread reflecting body is formed of MgO. The spread reflecting body has an embossing type. |
